1983 - 1987

Study of International Law, and Arabic Studies at the University of Vienna, Austria.


1988

Postgraduate study at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in International Relations, and at the Urbino University/Italy in European Law.


1989

Georgetown University, Washington D.C., U.S. – Fulbright Fellow at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies.


1991

Presentation of doctoral thesis in International Law at the University of Vienna, Austria. (The concept of borders of the parties to the Middle East Conflict).


1992

Degree in Public Administration, ENA (Ecole Nationale d' Administration) Paris, France.

Professional experiences

1990 - 1998

Served in Foreign Service of the Republic of Austria (i.e. political section, office of the Legal Adviser: Department of Human Rights, Cabinet of the Federal Minister), at the Austrian Delegation to UNESCO in Paris, Austrian Mission to the UN (UNOV) in Vienna, and at the post of Austrian Embassy in Madrid, Spain.


1998-present

Free-lance Correspondent and Lecturer
Vienna University (1995-2004), Diplomatic Academy Vienna (2000-07), Webster University Vienna since 2001, Centre International des Sciences de l'homme, Byblos in Lebanon, Université Saint Joseph Beirut, National Defense Academy Vienna  in the fields of International Law, history of middle east, energy.
